基本情况

刘金旺,博士,教授,博士生导师,中国理科教学指导委员会委员,中国计算机数学会常务理事,中国工业与应用数学会理事,湖南省数学会副理事长,湖南省普通高校学科带头人,湖南科技大学科协副主席,湖南科技大学数学硕士点负责人。毕业于湖南师范大学基础数学专业,主要研究方向为代数与符号计算。一直在教学第一线,从事本科生、硕士生的教学工作,先后主讲《高等数学》、《近世代数》、《计算代数》等课程,曾获“全国优秀教师”称号,多次评为湖南科技大学“优秀研究生导师”。主持国家自科基金项目3项、省部级项目8项、参与中美合作项目1项,主编教材5部。获湖南省教学成果二等奖1项、三等奖2项,湖南省自然科学三等奖1项。在《Journal of Algebra》、《Journal of Symbolic Computation》等国内外权威刊物发表学术论文60余篇,其中SCI、EI收录40余篇。曾应邀赴加拿大、美国、英国、法国、比利时、荷兰等国外高校交流访问,多次应邀到中科院、中山大学、南开大学等高校讲学和交流。
